He explains the legislative process and how the thinking in the legal setting is different from other pushes for changes in the United States regarding GMO use. Information is given on how the US is different from other countries in this regard. Information is given on how corporate power, rights and directions have evolved. Some historical background is given for how and why we are at this juncture. From the Producer's point of view this helps to round out information on what citizens need to know about how the various levels of government work and how citizens need to think in order to avail themselves of multiple approaches to this issue.
